Erin’s journey to becoming a physiotherapist is rooted in a strong sports background. Her passion has always been for volleyball. She played more than thirteen seasons including university level, coached both high school and university teams, and has played recreationally ever since. Erin has also played basketball, soccer, badminton, and competed in track and field, gymnastics and competitive diving. Her years as a rehab aid strengthened her love of activity and developed her fascination of how physiotherapy can change lives.
Erin graduated from the University of Manitoba’s School of Medical Rehabilitation with a Masters of Physical Therapy and a love for manual therapy and exercise. Since gaining her Masters Degree experience with various track and field events, and Team Manitoba Men’s Ball Hockey. She is currently completing further training through the Orthopaedic Division in manual therapy and would like to gain certification in acupuncture.
In her free time, she enjoys running, biking and exploring the beautiful Whiteshell. She strongly believes that a sore body part cannot be examined alone but is only one piece of a complex puzzle. Whatever is holding you back or slowing you down, Erin wants to work with you to get you back to doing the things you love!
